Climate Advocate Workshop | Ghana
In partnership with the Sisters of the Holy Cross, a workshop was developed in Ghana to address how poor waste management contributes to the spread of malaria. The program educated over 50 primary school students, building critical awareness of the link between environmental sustainability, disease prevention, and public health. Learn more here
Pre-COP30 Advocacy | Brazil
As a Caribbean representative at the Climate Change Youth Conference in Brazil, my address was delivered on SDG 17 to champion cross-sector partnerships as essential for climate action. This advocacy ensured Caribbean youth perspectives on equity and innovation were embedded in the official youth agenda for COP30. Learn more here
Composting Education | India
As a Sustainability Student, I developed and tested three composting bins using 100% natural materials, successfully reducing odor and increasing adoption among rural villagers in Palghar, India. These environmental contributions were paired with direct community impact by teaching daily English lessons to improve the communication skills of children aged 3-7. Learn more here
Micro-Gardens | USA
To address the pervasive issue of South Bend, Indiana being a food desert, Micro-Gardens was developed as an innovative mechanism to help disadvantaged individuals be more connected to their food systems while also recognizing their unique constraints (limited space, time poverty, limited financial resouces. Thus far, we have worked with key institutions at the University of Notre Dame, including the Institute for Social Concerns, Office for Student Enrichment, Student Government to ensure these microgardens can be disseminated free of cost to individuals in need. In the South Bend Community and environs, we work with Unity Gardens to ensure individuals beyond the University can have access to Microgardens.
